Military Mom And Daughter Get A Huge Surprise

5-year-old daughter Ellie and her mother, Vanessa Villegas, became Internet sensations when a video of Ellie opening a present went viral. Ellie's father is U.S. Army Pvt. David Villegas has been away at basic training and Ellie was really missing him. Ellie and her dad are like best friends, so they were both heartbroken when they found out he wouldn't be able to come home for her birthday. So her mommy and daddy made a plan and he recorded his voice with a special birthday message and they placed it into a teddy bear.

When Ellie opened the gift and she saw the special bear dressed like her daddy with his voice inside this little cutie's heart was so full. Now, whenever Ellie wants to be closer to her father, so can just hug the bear really tight. But that's not even the best part.

Talk show host Ellen Degeneres saw the video and invited Ellie and her mother onto the show. That's when she gave them both the best surprise by FaceTiming David.

Seeing this family reunited on the call was beyond heartwarming, I couldn't hold back my tears. When Ellen found out that this wonderful and selfless family had some financial issues she knew she wanted to help. And what an incredible way she stepped in. This is so beautiful!

This Christmas, remember how precious you are to the Creator. Remember that there is nothing you can do or say that would ever separate His presence and love from you. It’s okay to go through Christmas feeling alone and isolated, but make sure you turn to God to fill those feelings of loneliness.
