This Easter Garden Is a Perfect Way To Teach Kids About Jesus

Whenever we have the chance to teach our little ones about Jesus, that's a good day. And as Easter approaches, what better time to talk about the birth, life and death of Jesus as it builds to God's ultimate promise in Jesus' resurrection. This is our foundation of faith in God and this Easter Resurrection Garden is the perfect centerpiece for your table!!

This Easter Resurrection Garden idea has been floating around Facebook and Pinterest for a while, but it's so adorable and easy to do, I couldn't help myself but to send it out for you to see and enjoy!

This is what you’ll need:

  • A medium sized pan
  • Potting soil
  • A small terracotta pot
  • Small rocks
  • One large rock
  • Garden moss
  • Twigs to make crosses
  • Twine to  tie twigs together for crosses

Look at this particularly cute version made by the Frugal Homemaker!

"He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him and by His wounds we are healed." Isaiah 53: 5

"As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. 'Don't be alarmed,' he said. 'You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.'" Mark 16: 5-7

This is such a sweet and wonderful way to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. God sacrificed His one and only son for you and me! May the Easter Season bring you closer to God.

A Prayer for Those Who Are Lonely or Isolated This Christmas - Your Daily Prayer - December 23

This Christmas, remember how precious you are to the Creator. Remember that there is nothing you can do or say that would ever separate His presence and love from you. It’s okay to go through Christmas feeling alone and isolated, but make sure you turn to God to fill those feelings of loneliness.
