One Dunkin’ Donuts worker was blessed in an incredible way when she received a fully furnished home from one loyal customer.
It has been three years since Ebony Johnson, an employee at Dunkin’ Donuts, met Suzanne Burke in the drive-thru line. After talking each time while Suzanne picked up her morning coffee, the pair became close.

“I go every morning,” shared Suzanne. “Ebony has worked the drive-thru for three years and has provided amazing customer service.”
But Suzanne recently noticed that Ebony was not working her usual hours, and she missed her friend. Suzanne reached out to her only to find out that Ebony and her three children had been evicted from their home.
Suzanne knew she needed to help her friend during her time of need. “I just wanted to see if I could help her just improve her life and the life for her kids," shared Suzanne. "I wanted to make sure that they had stable housing so that she could continue to provide the excellent service she does at Dunkin'."
Thanks to the organizations that Suzanne was able to get assistance from, she was able to get Ebony a home fully furnished with furniture! New Life Furniture Bank was one of those organizations. And they accept household items and make them available at no charge to those in need.
“It's as much a gift for us as it is for them to be able to provide this for them,” said Dana Saxton, executive director of New Life Furniture Bank.
“Thank you all so much. Thank you so much for helping me," Ebony said when she saw her fully furnished home. “I’m just so thankful we’re back in our home. The Lord looked out for me because I kept praying and saying, 'Could I be at home before Christmas?'”
