Special Moment When Deaf Dad Signs To His Newborn Baby Girl Who Is Also Deaf

Baby Arrow and her Daddy share something in common. They are both deaf. And in a heartwarming moment caught on film, the deaf dad signs to his newborn baby girl who is also deaf.

Baby Arrow was born at just 25 weeks gestation. And this sweet baby is a miracle all around!

After her parents battled with infertility, God answered their prayers with a beautiful baby girl. And, despite her premature birth, Arrow has been a warrior during her NICU stay.

Recently, Arrow passed the deaf test. But thankfully, Arrow is coming into a home that already utilizes American Sign Language (ASL), as her father is deaf too.

It can sometimes be a struggle to communicate when a child is brought into a family not familiar with ASL, but Arrow will not have that issue. Just watch as the newborn receives the sweetest compliments from her daddy as he signs to her in the hospital.

He goes on to tell Arrow what a beautiful baby she is and how pretty her green eyes are. He also lets her know that he is ‘Daddy’ and he loves her so much. This entire exchange was all captured on camera and it will bring on the tears.

I just love how Arrow never takes her eyes off of her father the entire time. She is so captivated by their conversation. While this sweet baby has a long road ahead of her, she is obviously entering into an incredible family full of love and support.

We are all praying for this infant as she finishes up her stay in the NICU. You’ve got this Arrow.
