Deaf-Born Baby Finally Gets To Hear Words For The First Time

An adorable little deaf-born baby named Asher is getting the surprise of a lifetime. This heartwarming video footage captures the moment Asher finally gets his hearing aids put in.

With the whole family there to cheer him on, Asher's doctor hooks everything up. As soon as the hearing aids turn on, Asher's eyes completely light up. Once the family starts to lovingly say Asher's name, something amazing happens.

Asher smiles so adorably big and wide. He even starts turning his head trying to figure out which direction each endearing voice is coming from. This little cutie can't help but be totally elated to finally know what hearing feels like. His mom even tells the doctor that she hasn't ever seen Asher turn his head this quickly and this much.

It's amazing to see how technology is able to change the life of a sweet little baby. Without the hearing devices, we have today, Asher might not have ever been able to hear his family speak to him. The most precious part of the video is when his dad calls him by name and he recognizes it.

Asher's face radiates pure joy once he realizes he is hearing his daddy's doting voice. What an amazing moment between this family! Asher is going to be able to re-watch this moment over and over when he gets older. Thank goodness someone caught this life-changing milestone on camera!
