Little Girl’s Note To Her Dad Will Change How You See Strangers

Try To Look Through The Eyes Of Jesus

From day to day we come into contact with hundreds of people who we never stop to really appreciate. Whether it is the girl who handed us our coffee, the neighbor we never talk to, or even a taxi driver whose name we forget the second we leave the car. But every now and again something truly beautiful happens that makes us stop and take notice.

That’s exactly what happened to Sean Michael Chui. He was riding in a cab when he happened to look at the driver’s steering wheel and see a note hanging down.

He snapped a picture and shared it with the world and our hearts collectively melted.

The precious note reads:

Dear daddy, Thank you for working so hard for us. I love you a lot. Love Resi.

Something so simple as a note from a sweet baby who just wants her daddy to know how much she loves him can really open our eyes to the people around us.

Instead of seeing people as nameless faces in the crowd that just happens to come across your path try and see them like Jesus does. See a precious life, a father, a friend, or someone’s whole world. We are all trying to get bills paid and make it through our crazy schedules. But it means so much to stop and remember that God puts people in our lives for a reason. Even if that reason is just a smile or a kind word.

Sometimes the pure love of a child is the reminder we need, to love others and try to see the world through God’s eyes. So thanks Resi, for the reminder to love like Jesus!

If you liked this story, your heart is sure to soar when you hear what these teens are doing for fallen veterans who are complete strangers!

A Prayer for Those Who Are Lonely or Isolated This Christmas - Your Daily Prayer - December 23

This Christmas, remember how precious you are to the Creator. Remember that there is nothing you can do or say that would ever separate His presence and love from you. It’s okay to go through Christmas feeling alone and isolated, but make sure you turn to God to fill those feelings of loneliness.
