Crying Baby Is Soothed When He Smells Mom's Shirt

A crying baby is comforted in this heartwarming video after smelling his mom’s shirt.

I think we can all agree that the relationship we develop with our mothers is unlike anything else. These special women shape our lives and show us what unconditional love means.

Just like Jesus, they care for us and support us in more way than we could ever imagine. From the very beginning, they help us learn and grow in ways that no one else can. Babies, especially, have a natural sense of who their mother is.

This is the person that provides comfort and love in our earliest days. This particular video shows a newborn baby is a fit of tears. Nothing seems to work to calm the baby down. That’s when the family decides to try something a little different.

Mom's Shirt Helps Calm Baby Down

They place a shirt worn by the baby’s mom right beside him. The baby sniffs the shirt, smells the scent of his mother and immediately starts to calm down.

It’s amazing to see how he is so young but he already knows where his source of comfort comes from. This sweet moment truly reminds us that God placed our mothers in our lives for a reason.

They are a precious gift that should be cherished and appreciated. God certainly knew what He was doing when He placed these special women on Earth. Who else agrees?

Proverbs 31:28–29: "Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.'"
