Country Song Tells Heartwarming Classic American Family Story

There is no doubt that country artist Aileeah Colgan has an incredible God-given gift for singing and song writing. Each song she releases is even better than the last. The scene is set in 1949 when the couple first meets in a little schoolhouse as children. The story continues with the man proposing to his true love. Then as Aileeah continues singing the lyrics change gears into some wise marriage advice, "Choose kindness every day. Be wise with the words you say". Kindness truly is an integral part of a strong marriage and strong relationships in general.

The next few lines of the song encourage us to remind ourselves that choosing love is always the right choice, "And know that life's not perfect, but love is always worth it". Later, the lyrics, "And meant to be can happen fast, but marriage should be built to last.", remind all of us that marriage is hard work and it takes a lot of dedication to keep it going strong.

The song concludes with these amazing words of wisdom "And make some time for laughter, and you'll live happily ever after.", hearing this truth is such a great reminder to try to find joy in whatever circumstances you are facing. Aileeh sings these words so beautifully that it's almost impossible to not sing along with her. What a great reminder of the wonderful gift marriage truly is. Who else couldn't help but smile through this one?
