Christian Films Coming Out August 2013

Here are some of the Christian movies scheduled for release on DVD and Blu-Ray this month! There are a variety of films that focus on different themes, including children in foster care, spiritual demons, evolution, children slavery in India, marriage and adventure. Actors, directors and producers have worked hard and I am impressed with many of the films that are Christian-based.

“The Truth" 1 Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

This verse reminds me that no matter what I’m doing through out my day, I need to be mindful to give thanks to God. I’m thankful for Christian films!

When I first watched the trailer for this movie, I immediately thought of the people I know who love to debate evolution and creation. This 45-minute documentary shares the perspectives of the top evolutionary scientists and atheists and overall debunks evolution. I found the trailer informative and am looking forward to watching this film when it is available.

Eli, the camper he is assigned to, was physically and emotionally abused by his parents and is nothing less than a challenge for Ken. Conclusion

It seems the Christian film industry has grown considerably in the last few years and I’m excited to see more films becoming mainstream. Parents especially are looking for wholesome entertainment for their children and need to know which movies are appropriate for different ages. There may be other Christian films coming out, so please let me know of others you would like me to review!

A Prayer to Have a Servant's Heart This Christmas - Your Daily Prayer - December 14

A willing heart sets forth a fire to see and experience Jesus, and as we know, God will use any willingness directed toward Him to grab a child of God's attention. He will use His people and all His creation to draw us nearer to Himself.
