A Lovely Couple

Despite his celebrity status, Chris Pratt is a down-to-earth guy who found Jesus through a stranger at the grocery store. Even after shooting to the top in Hollywood, Chris clung tightly to his relationship with God. He talks openly about the important role faith plays in his life, and regularly shares prayers and Bible verses on his social media accounts. One Easter, he even erected a giant metal cross in honor of Jesus' sacrifice. Chris has always raved about his wife, actress Anna Faris, and their son, soon-to-be 5 Jack. The couple seemed to share a genuine dedication for one another, which is so rarely seen in Hollywood.

My dear sweet @annafaris getting flashbacks from her hilarious role in Lost in Translation. Thank you for the support honey! You look so beautiful. These press tours can be such a whirlwind. I'm grateful to have you and the boy with me on this one. Although it's 3:00am right now, I was just awakened by a square kick to the back as little man climbed into bed and then must have had a karate dream or something and now I can't sleep. I'm on insta instead. All you dads and moms know what I'm talking about. 😂♥️🙏👆👍🏼🙌

Chris Pratt Announced Separation

The two have certainly handled the situation gracefully. Chris Pratt announced the plans for separation first across his social media accounts, which Anna then shared on hers.

The post read:
"Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another."
And many folks seemed just as disheartened as we were to hear the news.

"I would not be here with the ease and grace I have in my heart without my Lord and savior Jesus Christ," Chris said in his brief speech.
