A cute boy excited about baptism hilariously took matters into his own hands during one special moment in a church service.
Baptism is a massive and sacred moment in the life of a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. People publicly profession that they are committed to Jesus Christ during baptism. They show that they will follow His will and plan for their life. Baptism is also an outward display of what has already happened in a person’s heart and life, that their sin is gone.

Often even young children undergo this sacred and wonderful public ritual that is baptism. They show their church family and God that they have accepted the Lord as their personal savior. He has cleansed their heart from sin and they are committed to Him.
A child, 6-year-old Jordan Warrick, was so ready and willing to make this public declaration for Christ that he could not contain himself and wait for the pastor, according to the Today Show. He dunked himself in the water!
Video of the ceremony at the West End Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, shows young Jordan standing in the baptismal pool as the pastor stands behind him.

In the video, the pastor explains to the congregation the significance of Jordan stepping forward to be baptized. He says that young Jordan has accepted Christ as His savior and is now set to be baptized.
“He will demonstrate his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ by willingly being baptized this morning,” the pastor states.
The pastor also mentions that Jordan has been anxiously awaiting this moment.
“He’s been waiting on this day a long time,” the pastor said.
However, Jordan could not wait a few seconds longer. The pastor continues speaking and right before the pastor baptizes the young man, Jordan takes care of it himself.

Jordan says, “I’ll do it!” before pinching his nose closed and dunking his head into the water.
Many in the church burst out in laughter at the child’s self-baptism.
What a cute, innocent and hilarious moment!
“Go then, and make disciples of all the nations, giving them baptism in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to keep all the rules which I have given you: and see, I am ever with you, even to the end of the world.”- Matthew 28:19-20
