Anne Graham Lotz Begs 'Please Pray' After Her Daughter Suffers Two Heart Attacks

Billy Graham's daughter Anne Graham Lotz today is grateful for prayers received for her own child. After Anne's daughter Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright suffered two heart attacks, her family asked all the prayer warriors out there to lift her up!

Prayer is a powerful tool. And that's why Anne Graham Lotz asked all of us to cover her daughter in prayer.

A sudden heart attack sent Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright to the hospital. There, doctors performed a catheterization. Then, the very next day, doctors performed another catheterization after Rachel-Ruth suffered a second heart attack.

"The mystery is that her heart has no blockages which can cause traditional style heart attacks," Anne shared on social media.

Doctors initially linked Rachel-Ruth's cardiac arrest to an extremely rare condition called broken heart syndrome. The condition has no definitive cause but can often be linked to intense emotional or physical events. And as Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright fought to recover and doctors worked to understand her condition, her family looked to the Lord for help, asking others to join in intercession.

So, as Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright fights to recover and doctors work to understand her condition, her family looks to the Lord for help. And Anne Graham Lotz today asks others to join her in intercession.

"I am urgently asking you to join my family in praying for Rachel-Ruth," she pleaded on social media. "Please pray for her heart to stabilize, for accurate diagnosis and treatment, for the doctor’s supernatural wisdom, for peace and comfort for all of us."

Anne Graham Lotz Today Acknowledges Power Of Prayer

As so many lifted Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright up, things changed rapidly. And as doctors prepared to release her from the hospital, Anne Graham Lotz acknowledged the power of prayer today and every day!

"God has heard and answered our prayers! Join us in praising Him! He has surely been an ever present help in times of trouble," she wrote.

A cardiologist updated Rachel-Ruth's diagnosis to another serious condition SCAD: Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection. This is when a tear forms in a blood vessel in the heart. And while Rachel-Ruth will need continued prayer and recovery, she is at least back home with doctors hard at work on keeping her healthy.

In moments of crisis and tragedy, it is easy to feel powerless. But God has given us a powerful tool in the form of prayer. We do not have the power to change things, but He does.
