Their Car Burst Into Flames During Cross-Country Move But Faithful Family Sees God At Work

Amy Demos, photographer and influencer, thanks God for keeping her friends and family safe when her family’s car burst into flames.

Two of Amy’s friends were driving her moving truck cross-country when one of the tires on the trailer that was carrying her car went up in flames. The gas tank could’ve exploded and put her friends in more danger, but it didn’t.

Amy Demos and her husband, Jordan, chose to see the good in the burning of their only vehicle because God’s plan was playing out exactly how it should.

The day before the friends took off, Amy and Jordan took their car to the gas station to fill up the tank. Once they got there, the couple realized they had left their credit card at home and were out of luck. Since the car wasn’t actually going to be driven, they accepted their mistake and went back home.

Little did they know that this tiny inconvenience wasn’t just misfortune -- God kept them from filling their gas tank that day to save their friends the next day.

Family Sees God's Hand During Car Fire

Once the tire spontaneously caught fire, the friends safely pulled the truck over. The next thing they know, three strangers pulled over to help the two detach the trailer from the moving truck. The moving truck had ALL of the Demos’ belongings. The car caught fire soon after unhitching the trailer.

On Instagram, Amy Demos said, “We see SAFETY and PROTECTION. Not a single person came out of this with a scratch or burn. It’s a MIRACLE.”

Through this tragedy, God was watching out for everyone involved. The Demos family, the friends, the three strangers, and the firefighters were all protected that day by God’s miracle.

The most beautiful part? Amy and Jordan recognize all of their blessings. They don’t let the difficulties and this huge obstacle get in the way of their happiness and safety. Thank God for protecting all of them on their way to Tennessee!

A Prayer for Those Who Are Lonely or Isolated This Christmas - Your Daily Prayer - December 23

This Christmas, remember how precious you are to the Creator. Remember that there is nothing you can do or say that would ever separate His presence and love from you. It’s okay to go through Christmas feeling alone and isolated, but make sure you turn to God to fill those feelings of loneliness.
