American Idol winner, Abi Carter, stuns with her fantastic cover of “My Heart Will Go On.”
Anyone who wins American Idol can obviously sing and has a ton of talent. They would not make it through their initial audition and all the following rounds and cuts if they did not have the talent. The show’s judges are handsomely paid to weed out those who can and cannot sing.

Even if the program’s judges failed to do their job, and someone who did not have the talent got far in the competition, America, with their votes, would help rectify that problem. So, the individual who wins Idol every season is thoroughly tested and can definitely sing.
However, winning American Idol and pulling off an outstanding cover of a Celine Dion song are two very different things. Celine Dion has a magnificent, powerful voice, and her songs are suited to someone with her talent. That’s why Abi’s cover of “My Heart Will Go On” is so incredibly impressive!

In a clip posted on social media, Abi recorded herself singing the song, originally recorded and performed by Celine, while lying on the ground. Abi chose to sing that tune, as the text in the video explains, because she was told that it’s the “hardest to sing while laying down.”
Abi passed with flying colors if that was meant to test her singing abilities. It’s an outstanding cover that demonstrates her voice's absolute strength and range. She hits those high notes with what appears to be relative ease.
