2 Dogs With 2 Ducks Equals Pure JOY!

Meet Pikelet and Patty Cakes. Both are rescue dogs. These adorable brothers live in Sydney, Australia, where they help their humans rescue, foster and find loving, forever homes for pups in need.

But after playing foster brothers to so many dogs, they started sending their humans subtle hints that it was time to mix things up.

[rsnippet id="3" name="Article-Ad"] They got the hint. And when Wollongong Animal Rescue Network needed someone to help care for two little ducklings, Pikelet and Patty Cake's dreams came true!

Their feathered siblings were named Penguin and Popinjay. And after having been rescued themselves, Pikelet and Patty Cakes knew just how to make the little duckies feel right at home!

And though it may seem like an unlikely pairing, the pups get along with the ducks just swimmingly! RELATED: This baby boy and his four-legged "brother" were born on the same day

The doting dogs even tend to their little ducklings at bedtime, making sure that Penguin and Popinjay are all snuggled up, staying nice and toasty.

It's safe to say that Penguin and Popinjay are in good hands...errr paws...until their forever home is found.
