Reporter Rescues Young Girl During Earthquake Live Broadcast

In a terrifying moment during an earthquake in Turkey, one compassionate reporter bravely rescues a young girl during his live broadcast.

Yuksel Akalan is a reporter for A News in Turkey, and he was talking to the camera about an earthquake that had just happened in the area when a second one occurred. Then a nearby building collapsed, with many people fleeing the area in fear.

Yuksel and his cameraman started to run with other residents in the street while the camera was still filming, and that is when the reporter noticed a young girl and her mother in the road. The young girl was frightened, and Yuksel went to her to comfort her immediately.

He hugged her while she was crying and encouraged her to remain calm while he picked her up and helped evacuate her to safety. The kind act was recorded by Yuksel’s cameraman.

Then the reporter spoke to an emotional resident in the street that was covered in dust from the latest earthquake. What a terrifying and heartbreaking moment for all of those people to witness. And how scared all of them must have felt!

Those recent earthquakes in Turkey have been the deadliest earthquakes the country has seen since 1939. And more than 2,300 people in Turkey and Syria have died because of the earthquakes.

Thank goodness the reporter was there to help rescue the terrified young girl during the earthquake, but our hearts go out to all of the people who have lost loved ones in this tragic event. May God be near them and comfort them during this horrific time.

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
