Galations 6:9 (Amplified version) And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint. Most people I know when they hear this scripture, cringe. Especially if you are going through some trial or tribulation. You know the deal. You have done all you know to do . You have prayed, stood fast, and thank Him for what He is going to do, but it still seems the promise eludes you or the trial presses on. You get frustrated and tired of the waiting. You feel the urgency and still no release. You complain and ask how much longer or at least I do. We are human. Patience and endurance are traits that are not to common today. People today want "microwave faith". They want their promises yesterday instead of waiting on God's timing. In my own life, God gave me a promise 20 years ago. | Interested In: | I sing in our church choir. I like doing silly things with my girls. I like landscape photography but alas...I haven't had time for pics in a while. I like hiking and hopefully this fall I can take a motocycle safety class because I really want a bike. |
| Favorite Music: | I like music period. Rather I love music. MY favorites are Jeremy Camp, Delirious, Casting Crowns, Kutless, Third Day, Seventh Day Slumber. I listen to differnt styles as long as the lyrics are positive. |
| Favorite Movies: | I like " the passion" of course. I just like movies. I like movies from the 30's, and 40's. I like comedies,romance, jackie chan and jet li, thrillers, and i love British comedies. I think they are a hoot. I guess my all time favorites would have to be "A christimas story", "Moonstruck", and I cannot believe I am admitting to this but Titanic. |
| Favorite Books: | Other than the Bible???? :) Fictional books I like the outlander series from Diana Gaboldan. The Mark of The Lion series by Francine Rivers. The Rose by Max Lucado. Anything by Nicholas Sparks but my favorite A Walk to Remember. I like the classics too. I know I am a nerd. |
